The Blount family has been in the food business since 1880. Our product Line includes refrigerated and frozen gourmet soups, side dishes and entrees for food service and retail. The Company, headquartered in Fall River, MA, is the largest producer of clam chowder in New England and the largest manufacturer of Lobster bisque in the country.

Summary – The Sales Program Analyst is responsible for development, maintenance and administration of complete Sales Program information including promotional allowances, chargebacks, bill backs, marketing accruals, and rebates. S/he will work closely with our Blount Sales Team, brokers and our Accounting department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Approval of Customer invoice deductions.
• Obtain deduction backup details for any authorized deduction where a valid program is not already in place.
• GL code and track customer invoices and deductions.
• Unauthorized deductions require filing a claim with customers or request re-payment.
• Document all details for new marketing programs and allowances. Obtain customer signatures to execute the programs. Capture program details in our Sales Program database (“PromoPlus” and “TrackMax”). Programs include:
o Advertisements and one-time promotions
o Off invoice price adjustments
o Distributor and/or customer specific rebates
o Allowances for food shows
o Corporate contracts with National Distributors and National Accounts
• Utilize customer web-based portals to obtain backup documentation where applicable.
• Track program expenses and spend by customer, broker, item, product category, GL account, etc.
• Create, maintain and report on Customer specific marketing program accruals.
• Create and maintain program price deviations where applicable in the ERP system.
• Review programs and agreements prior to expiration dates. Roll, revise or terminate programs as agreed to with our Sales Team members and their customers.
• Routinely conduct accrual, program & spend analysis.
• Coordinate creation, signing and filing of customer and vendor Non-Disclosure Agreements.

Education and/or Experience
• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable experience required.
• Work experience in a manufacturing or distribution business environment preferred.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred.
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access, & Word) experience necessary.
• User experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, particularly the sales reporting and invoicing modules. (examples include JD Edwards, Oracle, Sage, SAP)
