About the Job
Meadowridge Academy is a 36 bed therapeutic residential school that specializes in trauma-informed treatment and care for adolescents ages 12-22 with complex trauma histories, mental health issues, educational challenges, and behavioral difficulties. We serve students with all levels of functioning who may have learning disabilities as well as medical fragility. We provide comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and 24 hour direct care supervision. We utilize a unique ARC (Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency), BCC (Building Communities of Care) and sensory focused treatment framework which helps to build individual capacities for emotion regulation, personal strengths, and healthy relationships as well as a safe and supportive environment of care.
We are currently seeking a full time Assistant Program Director.
This dynamic, dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated individual will provide direct oversight of the services provided to our students and assume responsibility of the school in the absence of the Director and Assistant Director. This Senior Level Administrator will work in tandem with the Director and Assistant Director toward a shared vision of the school. The Director of Operations will be responsible for the assessment, development and implementation of programmatic operations and to bring Meadowridge Academy to an elite level among its competitors.
Master’s Degree and at least 5 years supervisory and leadership experience a must. Experience working with adolescents in a mental health setting, excellent communication skills, and strong leadership skills required. Knowledge of, experience with and belief in Trauma informed treatment a must. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package included.
