Job Description:

The Mario J. Gabelli School of Business at Roger Williams University, Bristol RI, invites applications for a tenure-track position in management at the assistant professor level beginning fall 2018. Responsibilities include teaching operations management as well as related courses. The individual hired will be expected to provide excellence in teaching, advise students, and maintain a high level of professional activity through quality research and service.


Candidates should have an established record or strong potential for high quality, innovative instruction and publishable research. Minimum requirements include advanced candidacy (ABD) or a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in business administration from an AACSB accredited institution, with a specialization in operations management; management science; data analytics or another highly relevant field of study. Ideally, the candidate will have a secondary area of study, such as supply chain management and/or service management. Business experience is a plus.
