Meadowridge Academy is a 36 bed therapeutic boarding school that specializes in trauma-informed services for adolescents with complex trauma histories, mental health issues, educational challenges, and/or behavioral difficulties. At Meadowridge Academy, support is provided for students with all levels of functioning who may have learning disabilities as well as medical fragility. We provide comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and 24 hour direct care supervision. We utilize a unique ARC (Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency) treatment framework which focuses on building individual capacities for emotion regulation, personal strengths, and healthy relationships. Our mission is to protect and support our students while developing their strengths and teaching them skills.
Meadowridge Academy is seeking day and night residential counselors/Direct Care Support Specialists to effectively support the development and growth of trauma-impacted youth through engagement of safe, thoughtful, and creative identity and regulation-building activities. Residential staff members work as part of an integrated team providing cutting edge treatment for students experiencing significant emotional challenges. Our Residential Interventionists are passionate about learning effective skills for helping trauma-impacted youth, display creative engagement tactics, and provide felt safety through healthy, therapeutic, trauma-informed interventions. Our Interventionists take pride in their ability to maintain the consistent, structured routines of the school while also providing safety and regulation through 24-hour supervised and direct care.
Experience working with adolescents and/or a degree in social work, psychology or a related field preferred. Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license. Must be flexible, adaptive, innovative, and able to work well with others within a team approach.

$2,000 signing bonus offered; Additional $1 extra per hour if covered by another non-state/government sponsored health plan and decline health coverage
