High Point is seeking an individual who will be responsible for leading, evaluating, and directing all nursing staff and services on behalf of our organization. This individual will be in charge of managing nurse managers to oversee administrative and nursing processes to ensure they are completed correctly and on:time.
This position must have excellent communication skills to interact well with patients, suppliers, and nursing professionals. They must be organized and pay close attention to detail when keeping patient records, and have strong knowledge of nursing practices, standard health care administration theories, and health care laws.
The VP of Nursing will develop and implement effective strategies to increase patient satisfaction and also recommend changes to organizational structure and delivery models after careful analysis and research.
This position is a fast:paced environment and one must utilize their multitasking abilities to reach all nursing objectives within given time:frames.
:Lead planning, administration and implementation of standards and policies concerning patient care and nursing philosophy.
:Oversees all aspects of nursing department, including: quality of care, recruitment, retention, training and development.
:Develop strategic plans, goals and objectives for patient care; ensures nursing and patient care objectives support the company mission.
:Oversees the policies and procedures in all the High Point Programs located in Plymouth, New Bedford, Middleboro, Jamaica Plain and Brockton.
:Must have knowledge of Methadone and detoxification.

We offer a full continuum of inpatient, outpatient, shelter, and residential care for children, adults, and adolescents. Our services include seven outpatient clinics, detox, clinical and transitional support services; Section 35 services, a youth stabilization program, permanent housing for individuals and families in recovery, residential recovery homes, a 72:bed psychiatric hospital, an Opioid Treatment Program, Community Support Services (CSP), Childrens Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI), and three family emergency homeless shelters in Taunton, New Bedford, and Fall River. Clients, regardless of where and when they enter our system, are effortlessly referred for services: based on their need: throughout our continuum (or to an outside provider, if deemed appropriate) to assure quick access to continuity of care. Adults, children, and adolescents (in addition to their families) can therefore transition through every level of care without encountering barriers, thereby ensuring that both their needs are met.
