The Sales/Applications Engineer (AE) will provide both technical and
commercial support to the Power BU with the primary goal of growing the
customer base, revenue, and profit. Externally, the AE will leverage his/her
technical background and knowledge of IQE's GaN:based products to explain,
promote, and sell materials solutions to existing and prospective customers.
Internally, the AE will liaise with members of the Technology and Commercial
teams as required to meet the needs of the Power BU.

RF/military electronics as well as high voltage power electronics.
Interface with our customers' technical
decision makers to understand their device:level requirements, act as a technical
consultant, collaboratively develop appropriate materials:based solutions, and
ensure that IQE epi wafers are designed into their GaN:based products
:Ownership of spec definition and product requirements (collaboration on
layer tables, substrates, metrology, data outputs, etc.). Provide on:site and
remote technical support and expertise to both internal and external customers
:Primary POC for assigned domestic accounts and foreign reps per Power
BU account management plan. Customer account planning and data management :
CRM, new customer setup, dashboards, pipeline, backlog, revenue, contacts,
correspondence, product qualification/schedule
:Support of new product development and PoBU roadmap generation
:Assistance with conferences / trade shows and creation of product
application notes
